Welcome to Bedrock!
Girls trips are essential for the soul and this is the perfect place! The journey is a bit long winded; flight to Istanbul, then a flight to Malakaia and then a 1 hour shuttle to Cappadocia. We were all coming from different continents so some of us booked hotels in Malakai for the night but its pretty dismal there. The drive is so scenic and we were in complete awe of the landscape, the rock formations are out of this world, the best description we could agree on was Bedrock in the Flinstones. Tourism is booming here so there are so many places to stay, most recommended are the Cave hotels, we stayed at the Ottomen Cave suites. The cave suite is so cool and lux; with walk in double headed steam showers and super kingsize beds. The main attraction is on their rooftop deck, at 6am most mornings the sky is filled with hot air balloons, warning they get pretty close but it is a sight to behold! The rooftop deck is usually set up with a fake breakfast spread for picture taking and hot air balloon rides can be arranged through the hotel but the prices vary depending on the season. Would definitely reccommed quad biking for adrenaline rush, traditionall Hamam Turkish bath for relaxation and don't forget to visit the rug shops where they legit will stage a whole photoshoot for you (for a small fee offcourse). We were treated so well everywhere we went, people are friendly and helpful.
