First trip of the year
Spent 3 nights in Lisbon for my partners birthday, a well needed trip all round. With everything in walking distance it was easy to spend the entire day lost in the street art, traditional decor and not to mention the steep hills and stairway paths throughout the city. We were spoilt for choice with many restaurants offering the most amazing food!! Not to mention You are never far away from a little a wine shop, one in particular we were very impressed by a little beauty called Adega D’ Arte you must visit, you will leave with the perfect bottle. We spent hours with a bottle of port by the sea at Belém Tower, it’s the perfect city to really take the time to enjoy your surroundings. I

Port by the sea while the sunsets
Spent a few days in Lisbon for my birthday with the missus. This is a great place to visit to get away from the hustle of London. Lisbon has a very relaxed vibe you can forget rushing around and sit by the sea at Belém tower with a bottle of port. Most places are within walking distance if you don’t mind climbing a few hill along the way, although Uber is always an option, we did not pay more than €5 for a ride between the places we visited. If you are into wine you must visit Adega D’ Arte. Food places are in abundance. Zappi is a great place for brunch (the music selection was amazing). Will definitely visit again
Business travel in the city of seven hills
Recently got back from Lisbon on a brief conference trip. The city was lovely and I can see why so many people say they love it. It is very instagramable if that matters to people. I would recommend the Time Out Market, it's a great place to eat and catch a vibe - but it is not cheap. A burger, salad and a glass of wine cost me €22. I travelled with three wonderful Hijabi women and we had no trouble at all. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back to explore properly - business travel is often sour in that you don't get enough time to see everything you want, unfortunately.
